The ULTRAK 440 is not a gym-class stopwatch. It is a waterproof camouflage stopwatch and countdown timer that ULTRAK builds for hunting, field trials and outdoor activities — which is exactly where Blue Ridge K-9 Supply customers spend their weekends. Timing a retriever on a marked retrieve, running a hunt test setup against the clock, keeping field trial braces honest, or building a young dog's steadiness work around a pacer instead of a guess: the 440 rides on the included lanyard, shrugs off the weather, and reads at a glance while your eyes stay on the dog.

IP67 Waterproof Camouflage Case with Large 1-Inch Digits

The 440 carries an IP67 waterproof rating, so marsh water, rain, wet grass and a dunk at the water's edge are part of the job, not a problem. The camouflage case belongs in the blind, the field and the training grounds, and the large 1-inch digits are easy to read at a glance — because when a dog is running a blind retrieve, your eyes belong on the dog, not on a tiny display. This is the hunting stopwatch handlers reach for when conditions are wet, cold and serious.

Three Countdown Modes and a Presettable Pacer for Structured Dog Training

Good dog training runs on timing, and the ULTRAK 440 gives you three countdown modes in one timer: count down and stop, count down and automatically repeat, or count down to zero and count up. Run timed steadiness drills, honor work, interval-style conditioning and handling practice with a timer that keeps the standard the same every single session. The presettable pacer sets a rhythm for training — pace your handling patterns and drills to a beat instead of guessing, and build the consistency young dogs thrive on.

Lap or Cumulative Split Timing to 1/100 of a Second

The 7-digit chronograph delivers lap or cumulative split timing — user selectable — at 1/100-second resolution, with a stopwatch range of up to 10 hours. That covers a full day on the trial grounds: every brace, every series, every dog on the truck, timed to the hundredth. Compare runs across a season, spot where a dog is gaining or losing time, and keep records your training journal will thank you for.

Built for Long Days in the Field

Extended battery life comes from lithium power — a user-replaceable CR2032 lithium battery you can swap in the field. A time-of-day and calendar display with auto leap year and selectable 12/24-hour format, four alarms plus an hourly chime, and the included lanyard round out a timer that works as hard at 5 a.m. in the marsh as it does at the last series of the day. Every ULTRAK 440 is backed by a 5-year warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the ULTRAK 440 really waterproof? Yes — it is rated IP67 waterproof for reliable outdoor use in rain, marsh and wet field conditions.

Does the 440 time lap and split times? Yes. The chronograph is user selectable between cumulative split and lap timing, at 1/100-second resolution, for up to 10 hours.

What battery does the ULTRAK 440 use? A CR2032 lithium battery, and it is user-replaceable when the display dims.

Is this a good stopwatch for field trials and hunt tests? That is what it is built for — ULTRAK positions the 440 for hunting, field trials and outdoor activities, and the countdown modes plus pacer suit structured retriever and gun dog training.

What if I need to store splits from many dogs? Look at the ULTRAK 360, which adds a 30 dual split recallable memory. The 440 is the waterproof camouflage timer with countdown modes and a pacer.
