Dogtra iQ Mini Remote Training E-Collar for Small Dogs | 400-Yard Range, 100 Levels, Dogs 7 lbs+

Small dogs deserve real training tools, not scaled-down afterthoughts. The Dogtra iQ Mini is built around the smallest and lightest receiver Dogtra makes — just 1.3 oz — engineered for dogs as small as 7 lbs. This e-collar for small dogs delivers a full 400-yard range and 100 stimulation levels on a smooth Rheostat Dial, so your toy breed, terrier or petite companion gets the same precise, humane communication as any big-dog system.

The receiver's curved design follows the contours of a small neck for a secure, comfortable fit, and the ergonomically designed plastic contact points protect sensitive skin — no bare metal, no pressure hotspots. Choose a momentary Nick, sustained Constant, or Dogtra's patented non-stimulating Pager Vibration for dogs who answer a vibration cue alone. Output is low to medium: exactly the working range small and sensitive dogs actually train in.

Featherweight Receiver, Full-Size Capability

The iQ Mini receiver is fully waterproof for dogs who swim, splash and roll in wet grass, while the handheld transmitter is water-resistant and sized for easy one-hand use. 2-hour rapid-charge lithium polymer batteries in both units mean the system is ready when your training window opens — and the iQ Mini expands to 2 dogs with an additional receiver, on a transmitter that is compatible with both iQ models.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the smallest dog the iQ Mini fits?

Dogs 7 lbs and up. At 1.3 oz, the receiver is Dogtra's lightest, and its curved back plate is shaped for small necks.

Is the iQ Mini too strong for a small dog?

Its low-to-medium output and 100 fine levels — plus a vibration-only Pager mode — are designed for small and sensitive dogs, so you can work at the lowest level your dog notices.

Are the contact points metal?

No — the iQ Mini uses ergonomically designed plastic contact points, made for sensitive skin and comfortable long wear.

Is it waterproof?

The receiver is fully waterproof; the transmitter is water-resistant. Both recharge in about 2 hours.

Can I add a second dog later?

Yes — the iQ Mini expands to 2 dogs with the iQ Mini Additional Receiver (Golden Yellow strap), sold separately.
