MetroVac Air Force Quick Draw Mini PED-500 Dog Dryer | .75 HP Portable Handheld Pet Dryer – Single & Variable Speed, No Heat

MetroVac Air Force Quick Draw Mini PED-500 — The 2.7 lb Portable Dog Dryer for Home & Travel

The MetroVac Air Force Quick Draw Mini is the must-have portable dog dryer for pet owners at home and on the go. This compact powerhouse produces 5 times more blowing power than a human hair dryer, yet weighs only 2.7 lbs — small enough to store in a drawer or toss in the car for trips, shows and vacations. With no heating element, this mini pet dryer dries all pets safely without drying out coats or burning skin, and its light yet durable all steel construction lasts through years of grooming sessions. Choose the single speed PED-500 or the variable speed PED-500V.

The Mini was made for the dogs the big dryers are too much for: small and medium dogs, puppies, cats, and quick touch-ups between baths. At 6.75 x 4 x 7.5 inches with a 12 ft grounded cord, this handheld dog dryer sets up anywhere — the bathroom counter, the grooming table, a hotel room on show weekend — and delivers 51 CFM of gentle, heat-free forced air from its .75 Peak HP motor. If you need a travel dog dryer that actually dries, or a small dog dryer that lives in a drawer instead of a closet, the Quick Draw Mini is the little dryer groomers and pet parents keep recommending.

A Puppy-Safe, Small Dog Dryer That Travels Anywhere

Small dogs and puppies need a dryer matched to their size, and noise-and-heat sensitivity matters even more for young pets. The Quick Draw Mini's heat-free design means there is nothing to burn skin or dry out a delicate coat, and the variable speed PED-500V lets you turn the airflow down even further for tiny or nervous pets. It is the dog dryer for home grooming in small spaces and the travel pet dryer handlers pack for shows — proof that a portable dog dryer does not have to be a toy. And when bath day involves a bigger dog, the Mini still works — with 5 times the blowing power of a human hair dryer — though for daily drying of large, heavy-coated dogs, a full-size Air Force dryer will be faster.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the PED-500 and PED-500V?

The PED-500 is single speed and the PED-500V is variable speed. Both share the same .75 Peak HP motor, 51 CFM airflow and 2.7 lb portable body.

Is the Quick Draw Mini a safe dog dryer for puppies and small dogs?

Yes. It has no heating element, so it dries with gentle forced air only — and the variable speed PED-500V lets you turn airflow down even further for tiny or nervous pets.

How portable is this mini pet dryer?

It measures just 6.75 x 4 x 7.5 inches and weighs 2.7 lbs, so it stores in a drawer and travels easily for shows, trips and vacations.

Can the Mini handle a large long-haired dog?

It can — it produces 5 times the blowing power of a human hair dryer — but for daily drying of large, heavy-coated dogs, a full-size Air Force dryer will be faster.

Does the Mini have a heating element?

No. Like the whole Quick Draw line, this travel dog dryer is heat-free by design, so it cannot dry out your pet's coat or burn their skin.
