MetroVac Air Force Commander Variable Speed Dog Dryer | 4.0 HP Compact Pet Grooming Dryer – Orange, Pink, Blue, Purple

MetroVac Air Force Commander Variable Speed — 4.0 HP Dog Dryer with Dial-In Airflow Control

The MetroVac Air Force Commander Variable Speed has been the top choice among pet owners for over 30 years — and this is the most adjustable Commander ever. A 4.0 Peak HP motor with variable speed control means this dog dryer does not force you to pick between power and gentleness: dial the airflow from a whisper for small, noise-sensitive pets up to full power for heavy coated breeds, all with the same machine. If you have been looking for a quiet dog dryer that can still handle a big double-coated dog, or a professional dog grooming dryer that works for every client on the books, this variable speed pet dryer is built for exactly that.

Choose Orange, Pink, Blue or Purple in the classic all-steel Commander body. Lightweight and portable, it works as a floor or table dryer with dual mounted legs for vertical or horizontal use, and it cuts drying time by two thirds while drying dog hair without drying out their coats. The full tool kit is in the box — air flow control, air concentrator, air flare tool, groomer rake and easy change filter — so whether you are finishing a puppy's first bath or blasting through a shedding-season double coat, this high velocity dog dryer adjusts to the dog in front of you.

One Pet Grooming Dryer for Nervous Small Dogs & Heavy Coated Breeds

Most dog dryers are a compromise: quiet ones are too weak for thick coats, and powerful ones are too much for small or anxious pets. Variable speed ends the compromise. Start low and gentle while a nervous dog settles, then bring the airflow up as they relax; or run full power — 113 CFM from the 4.0 Peak HP motor — when a large, heavy coated breed needs a serious blow-out. For multi-dog households, home groomers with different breeds, and salons that groom everything from toy breeds to the thickest double coats, the Commander Variable Speed is the one dog hair dryer that covers the whole range — and it does it in a compact, portable steel body made in the USA.
