MetroVac Air Force Commander 2-Speed Dog Dryer | Compact High Velocity Pet Grooming Dryer – 1.17, 1.7 & 4.0 HP, 4 Colors

MetroVac Air Force Commander 2-Speed — Compact Dog Dryer in 1.17, 1.7 & 4.0 HP and 4 Colors

The MetroVac Air Force Commander 2-Speed is the compact dog dryer groomers and pet owners have relied on for over 30 years — and now it comes in bold colors. This is the pet grooming dryer that lets you build your own setup: pick your power (1.17, 1.7 or 4.0 Peak HP), pick your color (Orange, Pink, Blue or Purple), and let the 2-speed control handle everything from a small short-haired dog to a large, heavy coated breed. Lightweight and portable, the Commander works as a floor or table dryer, and its dual mounted legs allow vertical or horizontal use, so this dog hair dryer fits the way you actually groom.

Do not let the compact size fool you — Air Force Commanders cut drying time by two thirds, and they dry dog hair without drying out their coats. That is the difference a high velocity dog dryer makes over a human hair dryer or a towel: forced air that moves water out of the coat quickly and gently. With a full tool kit in the box — air flow control, air concentrator, air flare tool, groomer rake and easy change filter — plus an all-steel body made in the USA, the Commander 2-Speed is the dog grooming dryer home groomers start with and professionals keep as their everyday workhorse.

Pick Your Power: A Dog Dryer for Home Grooming & Professional Volume

Not every dog needs the same dryer, so the Commander does not make you choose one size for all. The 1.17 HP AFTD-1 suits small and medium dogs, the 1.7 HP AFTD-2 is the popular all-rounder for everyday home grooming, and the 4.0 HP AFTD-3 has the power for large and heavy coated breeds and professional volume. Every color is available in all three motor powers, and the 2-speed control lets you groom large or small breeds, long hair or short hair, even heavy coated breeds with the same machine. If you are shopping for a dog dryer for home grooming that can grow with you — or a compact professional pet dryer for the salon — the Commander 2-Speed is the flexible, proven choice.
