Wood Duck & Black Lab Spiral Notebook - Duck Hunting Journal | Ruled Lined Notebook 6x8, 118 Pages | Waterfowl Gift for Duck Hunters

A Spiral Notebook Made for Duck Hunters, Waterfowl Season & Life in the Blind

This wood duck and black Lab spiral notebook is the duck hunting notebook serious waterfowl hunters carry everywhere. The front cover carries original vintage-style sepia artwork — a wood duck drake cupping in over a golden marsh while a black Labrador retriever sits steady beside a rustic wooden blind, watching the sky the way every good duck dog does. Inside, 118 ruled lined pages wait for hunting journal entries, scouting notes, blind sketches, dog training logs, boat lists, camp grocery lists and everyday writing. If you are searching for a duck hunting journal, a lined notebook for hunting notes, a field notes notebook for the marsh, or a waterfowl gift a hunter will actually use, this is the one.

Most hunters keep their season in their head — the flight days, the wind, the spread that worked, the retrieve their dog finally nailed. This hunting notebook turns all of it into a written record. Use it as a duck hunting log companion, a retriever training notebook, a scouting journal for tracks, feathers and flight patterns, a travel journal for hunting trips, or a daily planner and list maker the rest of the year. The handy 6 x 8 inch size disappears into a blind bag, a truck console, a boat glove box or a backpack, and the metal spiral binding folds completely flat or back on itself for writing on a tailgate, a boat seat or your knee in the blind.

Ruled Lined Pages for Every Kind of Note a Hunter Writes

The 118 ruled line pages (59 sheets) of smooth 90 gsm paper give you clean, even lines for handwriting of any size — no forms, no boxes, no rules about what belongs here. Hunters use this lined spiral notebook as a hunting journal, a duck season diary, a dog training log notebook for marking retrieves and steadiness progress, a fishing and camping trip journal, a sketchbook for decoy spread diagrams and property maps, and a plain everyday notebook for work lists, school notes, poems and plans. A built-in document pocket on the inside back cover keeps hunting licenses, duck stamps, tags, maps, receipts and photos safe and flat — the details duck hunters always need and never have in one place.
